Difference Between Water Resistant and Water Proof
The terms are often used for electronic and digital equipment or objects. The correct definition of waterproof is that the product totally resists the entry of water into it. On the other hand, water resistance means that the product has a capacity to resist water that penetrates it to a certain extent. The level at which the water intake was resisted may vary from one product to another. These terms are widely used in watches for a long time.
