The town has a total area of 36.3 square miles, of which 35.8 square miles is land and 0.5 square miles is water. The Town Board is the governing body of the town and has five members: a chairman, a vice chairman, and three supervisors. The town clerk and treasurer are also elected to two-year terms. Town residents also elect a constable to a two-year term. The Town Board meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall.
