Here this post is all about difference between rebirth and reincarnation
Difference between Rebirth and Reincarnation
It is generally believed that the concepts of rebirth and reincarnation refer to the same, that is, to the process of being reborn; however, there are some differences that you need to know so that you do not get confused when using one or the other.
Reincarnation has to do with the belief that the soul of people survives after death. So the soul takes a new body and is born again. It is only the migration of the soul from one body to another.
In some religious traditions the process of reincarnation is explained as the path to perfection. It is believed that people should learn from their mistakes in each of their lives in order to be able to be one with the universe or divinity.
On the other hand, rebirth is a belief more connected with Buddhism based on the doctrine of redirection. Buddhists oppose the idea of the eternity of the soul. According to them, a person is made of mind (Nama) and matter (rupa). The rupa is the manifestation of four forces: earth, water, fire and air.
In Buddhism the mind is considered the most important ingredient of being. When a person dies, he is reborn again, but he is not what he once was, nor is he completely different. For them this is defined as a continuity of the particle of life that only reflects a casual connection between the previous life and the present life.
Anyhow the key difference between rebirth and reincarnation is reincarnation is the process by which the immortal soul changes body, while rebirth is the flow of the particle of life and has nothing to do with the soul; but with the mind.
