Justification is The Lord’s declaration that a sinner is righteous through the work of Christ. Sanctification is the transformation of a believer’s whole being.
To be justified, your good works are immaterial. To be sanctified, your good works are a necessary substantiation of your faith in Christ, which the O Spirit permits you to do as you constantly die every day in your sin.
Justification gives you the privilege as well as the boldness to heaven. Sanctification gives the meekness for heaven and allows you to totally take joy in living there.
