The writing system in both cultures uses Kanji but the languages are different, Chinese uses a Sino-Tibetan language and Japanese uses Altaic language.

Regarding government, the Chinese are communists while Japan is a constitutional monarchy.
While the differences between both cultures are numerous, they also have some similarities.
Both cultures, Japanese and Chinese, have the greatest respect and consideration for family, honor, tradition and also beauty.
This puts them above other powerful nations.
